Who

I'm Stag, an avid reader and player of role playing games since the late '80s. Starting with OG Advanced Fighting Fantasy I moved on to AD&D and then 2nd Ed - it took me an embarrassingly long time to understand that you don't roll dice to cast magic in D&D a la Fighting Fantasy. I eventually moved on to Cyberpunks 2020 and World of Darkness during those troublesome teenage years, before a few wasted years trying to make the Palladium system work for me. Luckily I discovered Call of Cthulhu and Savage Worlds until I eventually fell back to OSR (DCC, OSE and recently OSRIC) and British OSR games (Troika!, Quarrel & Fable, Warlock! etc.).

I currently Judge a Dungeon Crawl Classics campaign every other Thursday (we are playing Goodman Game's recent version of Caverns of Thracia) and run occasional one-shots on off Thursdays, such as Cthulhu Hack and Savage Worlds.

What

I'm hoping to share some of the material I've knocked up over the years and more recently. Also, perhaps, recorded sessions of our Thracia campaign. Maybe the odd review or opinion (though, there are plenty enough of those floating about).

Why

My children are getting older and I have a little more spare time. I'm also reaching the age where I worry less about putting myself out there, which paralysed my 20s and 30s.

So hopefully you might find something of interest or that you could put to some use - or just the validation that you needed that you can do better than my paltry efforts!
